If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up people to collect wood and don’t assign them tasks and work, but rather teach them to long for the endless immensity of the sea.”

Sometimes we have silly conversations at the lunch table, recently we spent thirty minutes discusssing whether or not a quesadilla qualifies as a sandwich.
Do you consider a quesadilla a sandwich?
Some arguments for a quesadilla being a sandwich:
- It’s like a grilled cheese sandwich but made with tortillas
Arguments against a quesadilla being a sandwich:
- Tortillas don’t have yeast, therefore aren’t bread, therefore can’t be used to make a sandwich
- The tortilla (according to some) is folded in half, so it’s not actually two pieces sandwiching cheese
From Jiro Dreams of Sushi. I’m on a documentary watching spree right now, what do you suggest?
