Some specials and films I’ve watched in the past few months:
Radioactive Wolves
PBS special about the wolf population in Chernobyl, it’s fascinating to see how well the wildlife and plant life is making it in a place deemed unfit for human habitation.
Herb & Dorothy
A story to make you love art all over again. This couple has been collecting contemporary art their entire married life and have a collection worth millions of dollars in their tiny NYC apartment.
The President’s Photographer
An oldie, but goodie, take a peek at what it takes to document the President’s entire term.
Girl Walk // All Day
A few years old, but I re-watch this pretty consistently. This film will make you dance in your seat and fall in love with New York City.
The Bang Bang Club
A fictionalized version of the lives of combat photographers in South Africa during apartheid. To call it graphic would be a gross understatement, but the story is worth every minute.
